The Eudora Public Library is proud to participate in Kansas Reads to Preschoolers, a statewide reading initiative supporting early childhood literacy. Kansas Reads to Preschoolers is a one-book/one-state intergenerational reading project to highlight the importance of reading to children. The goal is that every Kansas child from birth to age five is read to during Kansas Reads to Preschoolers week in November. This year’s title is Lola Loves Stories by Anna McQuinn.
The library will have bookmarks available along with coloring pages and a craft for preschool children beginning Monday, November 12 through Saturday, November 17. Parents can also enter their preschool children in a drawing that will be held Monday, November 18 to win the book Bear Says Thanks or Thanksgiving Rules.
