The Friends of Kansas Libraries (FoKL) has awarded the Eudora Public Library Friends a grant to sponsor four (each, two days a week) Adventure Days for up to 50 children.  This project will provide an opportunity to build awareness, garner support and forge community partnerships between the library, Eudora Parks & Rec. and the Friends.  The Adventure Days Themes will be Rain Forest, Astronaut, Reader’s Theater and Art.  FoKL is pleased to award this grant to the Eudora Public Library Friends as they help make their library a great community asset.

The Friends of Kansas Libraries is a statewide organization whose mission is: To encourage and support new and existing local Friends groups, to facilitate the exchange of useful information among organizations of Friends, and to advocate for excellent library services.  FoKL awards annual challenge grants to Friends groups of varying service populations across the state to promote and encourage local Friends groups to grow, become stronger and support their libraries with innovative projects.
